STUDENT / PARENT SERVICE AGREEMENT

Nurturing Academic Excellence LLC

This Student/Parent Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Nurturing Academic Excellence LLC("Company") and the Parent/Guardian listed below for tutoring services provided to the student.

1. Services Provided

Nurturing Academic Excellence LLC provides online tutoring services designed to support academic growth in subjects such as Math, Science, and English Language Arts. Sessions are structured to improve student understanding, confidence, and performance.

2. Scheduling

Tutoring sessions will be scheduled at mutually agreed-upon times between the Company and the Parent/Guardian. Parents are responsible for ensuring the student attends sessions on time and is prepared with necessary materials. Please allow for five minutes transition periods before each session. For example, a 6:00 session will begin at 5:55 and ends at 6:55. 

3. Payment Terms

Nurturing Academic Excellence, LLC offers competitively priced tutoring services designed to provide families with affordable, high-quality academic support. Standard tutoring rates generally range from $35 to $60 per hour, depending on the student's grade level, subject, and the type of service provided. Customized tutoring packages and small-group sessions are available at discounted rates to encourage long-term enrollment and consistent academic progress.

• Payment for tutoring services is due at the time of service or by the invoice due date provided.

• Fees for services will be communicated prior to scheduling sessions.

• Payment methods may include electronic payment or other methods approved by the Company.

4. Service Fee and Late Payment Policies

Service Fee Policy

Nurturing Academic Excellence, LLC charges a $5.00 service fee for each scheduled tutoring lesson. New clients will be notified of this fee when sent their weekly invoice.

The service fee helps support the development, maintenance, and improvement of services and resources that enhance the overall student and client experience.

Please note that the $5.00 service fee applies to scheduled lessons, including applicable cancellation charges, and any required taxes may also apply.

By scheduling tutoring services with Nurturing Academic Excellence, LLC, clients acknowledge and agree to the applicable service fee and payment terms.

Late Payment Policy

A 3-day grace period is allowed after the due date.

• A $5.00 late fee will be applied to any unpaid service invoice after the grace period.

• Accounts with outstanding balances may have future tutoring sessions paused until payment is received.

5. Cancellation Policy

Parents/Guardians must provide at least 24 hours notice if a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the session being charged.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

To ensure consistent scheduling and availability for all students, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for any session cancellations or rescheduling requests. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled session rate. Missed sessions without prior notice (no-shows) will be charged the full session fee. As a courtesy, one late cancellation may be waived at the discretion of the business. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in respecting scheduled time, which allows us to provide the highest quality of service to all clients.

6. No-Show Policy

A session is considered a no-show if the student fails to attend the scheduled session without prior notice.

• No-show sessions may be charged the full session fee.

• Repeated no-shows may require prepayment for future sessions.

7. Student Participation

Students are expected to participate actively during sessions and follow instructions provided by the tutor. A positive learning environment is required for effective instruction.

8. Technology Requirements

Because tutoring sessions are conducted online, parents are responsible for ensuring the student has:

• A reliable internet connection

• A functioning device (computer or tablet)

• Access to required learning platforms or materials

The Company is not responsible for interruptions caused by technical issues outside of its control.

9. Educational Disclaimer

While Nurturing Academic Excellence LLC strives to improve student performance and confidence, academic results cannot be guaranteed, as progress depends on student effort, attendance, and participation.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nurturing Academic Excellence LLC shall not be held liable for academic outcomes, school grading decisions, or circumstances beyond the Company's control.

11. Agreement Acknowledgment

By signing below, the Parent/Guardian acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
